There are some locations in Sarasota to me that are very sketchy and some areas I find fun and good about it!  My grandparents had lived here for 7 years and everytime i came down we always only went to the good parts of the city!  As long as I'm with a group of friends I tend to feel more safe than if I was alone. So i will be going around more to trigger my brain again on reminding myself of the good and bad parts from recently or from my childhood.
